Job Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for unloading deliveries ensuring items are checked on delivery and receipt and storage of materials

·       Packing outgoing materials

·       Prepare and pick daily outgoing delivery prior to loading

·       Responsible for outgoing deliveries and related documentation

·       Responsible for housekeeping of stock area

·       Maintain all yard areas in an orderly and organised manner

·       Complete all tasks with safety, quality and customer service always to the forefront  

·       Cooperate with management with the implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives

·       Responsible for complying with Health & Safety procedures

·       Other duties as assigned by Management

Candidate requirements:

·     At least 2 years’ Forklift experience is essential

·     Current manual handling certification is essential

·     Excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail essential

·     Good communicator with both team members and customers

·     Ability to work on own initiative and without direct supervision

·     Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently

·     Reliable and committed individual

·     Basic computer skills would be an advantage
