For full job description and details on how to apply:   The successful candidate will fulfil the role of Scientific Officer II (Level 4) Environmental Data Analysis.  This vacancy will be filled in the Analytics team, Office of Evidence and Assessment.  The successful candidate will play a strategically important role in helping EPA teams to develop data insights. The successful candidate will work directly with the Senior Scientific Officer, Analytics team. The EPA is looking for a candidate who can demonstrate environmental data numeracy and data analysis skills. The principal responsibilities relate to development and maintenance of statistical data analysis tools including the analysis of environmental data to identify outliers, calculate trends and develop metrics.  The key responsibilities of a Scientific Officer II relate to a wide range of matters particularly concerning the assessment of environmental data to generate environmental evidence and knowledge to be used in integrated environmental assessment.   The assignments and area of work may subsequently change in accordance with organisational requirements.
