Director of Service. Wexford County Council  Wexford County Council is the local government authority for County Wexford. Wexford County Council has its administrative headquarters in Wexford Town. The Council has responsibility for delivery of a wide range of services in the local area with a focus on making the county, our towns and countryside attractive places to live, work and invest. Wexford County Council provides the full range of services including housing; planning; roads; environmental protection; the provision of recreation and amenities and community infrastructure and also plays a key role in supporting economic development and enterprise at a local level. A vacancy now exists in Wexford County Council for an experienced Senior Manager to play a leadership role as a Director of Service. Reporting to the Chief Executive, s/he will be responsible for policy implementation, service delivery and change management. The successful candidate will have:  A career record that demonstrates the necessary senior level leadership and management skills to manage, develop and motivate a large multidisciplinary team; Experience of managing change in a complex and dynamic environment; A significant record of achievement of results; Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
