Job Overview. We have an exciting opportunity for a  Temporary Buyer with a large multinational operating in Wexford. The primary focus of this role is to support the purchasing team with a strong emphasis on supplier management on related projects. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate his/her enthusiasm working within a team environment and is seeks to develop a rewarding career in Supply Chain.   Responsibilities: Purchasing. Support the Project Team with all purchasing related activity. Issue Purchase Orders in line with MRP and project timelines. Ensure purchase order pricing is accurate and per PIR. Purchase order line exception management. Identify supply constraints and escalate accordingly. Supplier Scorecard – review of supplier performance on a monthly basis. Management of all day to day aspects of Vendor relationship. Support vendor business review process. New vendor set up for new and transitioning products. Blocked invoice resolution & maintain to agreed SLA.   Data Maintenance. Support the management of Material Master data for Plant EI10 and associated Distribution Centre EI20. Support the management of Vendor and Price data for MRP materials in Purchase Org EI01     Engineering Change Notes. Creation of Engineering Requests where originating from Materials group. Review ECR from a Materials perspective, then complete ECR follow-up actions as required. Support the management of ECR effectivity dates and implementation points.    Quality. Arrange disposition of MRB stock; RTV (return to vendor), rework, or scrap as appropriate. Materials representative on relevant Quality calls / initiatives with Vendors on an as needed basis. Quantify & locate all material affected by a Stop Ship alert. Arrange completion of any material actions necessary to resolve Stop Ship.   Other. Materials representative on assigned projects within Waters Technologies Ireland Ltd. Prepare & present reports as directed or requested on as needed basis. Maintain KPI as directed by Manager. Adherence to all applicable regulatory compliance, SarbOx & corporate governance requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor of Business Studies or equivalent primary degree, IIPM Certification and/or APICS Certified. Minimum of 2-3 years supply chain experience. Experience of implementation and maintenance of best in class standards in Supply Chain processes. Proven track record with Vendor management with negotiation & influencing skills. Knowledge of SAP package or equivalent MRP system. Experience of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and compliance to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016.
