Hartley People are now recruiting a Group Financial Controller with a multinational client based in Wexford. Leading the finance and operations teams to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the company.  Effectively managing the group accounting requirements. The Role:  Integral part of the management team, contributing to strategic firm planning and decision making. Review of local entity management accounts and preparation of monthly group consolidated accounts and forecasts to tight deadlines, communicating, interpreting and reporting results to key internal and external stakeholders. Manage group cash flows, prepare monthly/quarterly forecasts. Preparation of annual budget, review and sign off of other local entity budgets. Consolidation and review of overall group budget to ensure it meets group requirements. Responsible for preparation and ongoing management of group business plan to achieve forecast. Managing group audit, liaising with audit partner and team to ensure efficiency and enabling value added outcomes during the process. Responsible for group tax compliance and tax planning in conjunction with local tax experts. Negotiating and setting departmental performance indicators. Inventory planning, forecasting and procurement. Effective working capital management. Human resource management. Ownership of the financial management systems and activities of the group, developing strong processes and procedures ensuring best practice, mitigating risk and delivering a solid platform for governance.
