I am delighted to be assisting my client a medical device company to find a Design Quality Engineer to join their successful team in Wexford. They are a multinational manufacturer with a lovely SME feel. • The Design Quality Engineer assures that new product designs and the processes for manufacturing them meet all local, Corporate and Divisional requirements with respect to safety and efficacy. Key Responsibilities: • Act as a quality representative during projects. • Control Risk Management duties and lead quality engineering activities for projects. • Be able to handle multiple tasks at once - from concept to prototype. • Review designs to align with compliance for new product development projects. • Participates in internal audits and audits of suppliers. • Performs designs of experiments and other analysis to support process optimisation or to determine causes of process variation. • Familiarity with regulations i.e. ISO 13485, CFR 11820, ISO 14971. Key Requirements: Degree qualified in Engineering, Technical or a Science disciple. Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
