Our client, based in Wexford, is looking for an Assistant Engineering Manager to join and strengthen their Engineering team and for succession planning. Do you have a Technical degree or trade (mechanical)? Do you have 5 years manufacturing/engineering experience gained in an FMCG environment? In this Assistant Engineering Manager job, you will take part in the planning, strategy and development of the engineering department, manage the day to day task allocation for the engineering team, manage the maintenance scheduling and staff roster scheduling, control the budget and manage relationships with external suppliers and internal team managers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has 5 years post qualification experience gained in a food production facility in a maintenance position, who is looking to step up into engineering management.
