Description

A Temporary Customs Administration Support Officer is required for our Client in South Wexford. This is a 39 hr working week on an initial 4 week contract, after which the role will become a week to week basis.  Duties include. Checking correspondence and printing relevant shipments that require Customs Clearance. Ensuring accurate entry of details into the Icarus Customs Declarations system. Use of the internal database to ensure accurate classifications  Monitoring all Clearance slips for delivery of shipments. Scanning and filing of Customs Declarations  Replying to any queries related to customs and amending errors.   Education Required: Third Level Qualification.   Desirable Experience: Previous customs, import and export experience. SAP. Logistics and shipment planning.   Competencies: Attention to detail. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to deal with large amounts of data. Good communication skills. Ability to work on own initiative. Ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
