We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a company based in Wexford. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career with a leading multinational company.  The Person.  B.Eng. /B.Tech (Mechanical, Production) or equivalent academic qualifications. Previous industry work experience in a regulated manufacturing environment –with a focus on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. experience of PLC’s, SCADA in a high speed/high volume automated environment. ISO 9000, ISO 13485 Quality systems. The Role: Provide technical support for manufacturing equipment, cost reduction initiative, control of change and the resolution of any issues both in house and in the supply chain. Provide project plans with regular updates of progress vs schedule for all major projects. Analyse existing manufacturing processes to initiate and develop manufacturing methods to improve efficiencies, quality and cost for the organisation. Participation in audits of key suppliers in order to assess their competence and their compliance with regulatory/industry standards. Initiation, review and approval of Engineering Change Notes to ensure compliance with the quality management system with the company’s business requirements. Ensure compliance with ISO9001:2000, ISO 13485:2003, GMP and regulatory standards 21CFR Part 820 in all activities. Prepare full suite of Validation documents for major projects.
