Our Client are currently in expansion mode with a number of new exciting products being introduced to the site. As a result of this, they are growing their Engineering team and have a requirement for a dynamic Validation Engineer who will be involved with ensuring all manufacturing processes are run safely and to schedule, involved in NPI's as well as supporting existing operations. You will be degree qualified with relevant industry experience and have a high level of technical expertise and skill, which you'll use to plan, design, set up, modify, optimize and monitor the manufacturing processes. Validation Engineer. Reporting to: Engineering Manager or Engineering Lead. Key Responsibilities: Initiates and leads the improvement of existing manufacturing processes interfacing with production and engineering groups in resolving problems encountered on the production floor, using Six Sigma and Lean principles and problem-solving techniques; Leads process validations, software validation and equipment validations; Leads and drives equipment design, development and optimization for large complex equipment / first time equipment; Leads and owns project plans, risk analysis project updates and project implementation for more complex projects. Key Requirements: Relevant Degree qualification in Engineering/Technical. Experience in a similar technical role with in a highly regulated industry, cleanroom experience preferred. Proven track record of analytical thinking in problem solving large complex issues. Experience in calibration and validation activities, good understanding of IQ, OQ, PQ. Experience in Project management and Continuous Improvement projects using Six Sigma and Lean principles and problem-solving techniques. Good team player with the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative. Ability to plan and coordinate engineering test builds and prepares and presents oral and written project updates and technical discussions. You will be an SME for process areas and is comfortable presenting in front of a site audit. You will mentor, coach and guide other engineers in their day to day projects. Knowledge of Minitab preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills. Proven ability to problem solve and work to targets with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and adaptability.
