Our client is a financial services provider that specialises in providing mortgages in the Southeast. They are now looking for a Mortgage Adviser to join their friendly team. This exciting role will see you advancing your career, your skills and your knowledge, building a great network of contacts and providing amazing service to customers. You’ll join a professional and dedicated team in Wexford and will be offered superb rewards that grow with the effort that you put in. As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be tasked with increasing sales of mortgage and mortgage-related products at our client’s offices in Wexford. Specifically, you will spend about 70% of your time in the offices, interviewing applicants for mortgages and the remaining 30% out in the community, meeting people and building pipelines of business. This is a fast-paced role with plenty of face-to-face activity where you will need to be comfortable meeting with potential customers and working on your own initiative to build business. In addition to your mortgage, sales and interviewing responsibilities, you’ll need to be highly organised, completing the associated admin and compliance tasks that come with mortgage applications. Although, your main focus will be building business and selling mortgages. Interested? If so, you will need: - A full QFA Qualification OR an APA Loans designation at a minimum. - A minimum of two years’ experience in financial services. - Strong sales abilities. - Strong local knowledge of County Wexford. - To be comfortable in generating new mortgage business on your own initiative externally, as well as handling office based walk-in mortgage enquiries. Engaging and enthusiastic, as a Mortgage Advisor, you will also need great communication skills and an amazing customer focus. You’ll be a ‘people person’ who is at home meeting people face-to-face, discovering their needs and finding products that meet them.
