As an Industrial Engineer you will find ways to eliminate waste in production processes and devise efficient ways of utilising workers, materials, machines, information and energy. The Role: As an Industrial Engineer you will: Support for the deployment of Lean and Six Sigma Tools and Methods to ensure robust, reliable supply and Lean manufacturing processes. Strive to develop best practice methods, workplace layout and workplace organization to gain throughput increases, inventory reductions, and operating expense reductions.  Be responsible for analyzing, designing and implementing manufacturing and business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead time, reduce the work-in-process and improve process flow and efficiency. Projects will incorporate lean manufacturing, theory of constraints, quick response manufacturing, Just-in-time, Methods-Time Management or a variety of other system improvement philosophies. Manufacturing experience would be a distinct advantage. Experience of process development an advantage. High level of attention to detail and numerical skills including ability to record, interpret and analyse data. Project Management experience an advantage. The capacity to communicate and present data clearly and effectively. Experience implementing CI/Lean methodologies such as Kanban, VSM & 8 Step.
