At the Enniscorthy facility, ClearStream manufactures mainly angioplasty catheters that are used in both coronary and peripheral procedures to unblock arteries. We are now recruiting an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer. As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will execute and report on process qualifications from Design to Manufacturing. Develop takt/cycle time’s estimates, process flow, line layout, capacity planning for new and existing manufacturing processes. You will have experience managing a varied workload on complex projects and have a proven track record in successful complex project execution. Key Responsibilities: Transfer Lead for new products from R&D into Manufacturing; Design and implement manufacturing tooling to improve workplace safety, workstation ergonomics, operator productivity and product quality; Review engineering changes and take appropriate measures to ensure all product documentation for the affected operations (methods, BOM`s, test procedures, etc) are updated to support the change prior to release to production; Develop and implement changes in operational workflow as needed to improve and accelerate the flow of product through the facility; Strategic planning of new product projects including resource allocation, production planning, and coordination of people and resources. The successful candidate will be capable of developing technologies and methods used to define how products are to be manufactured. Experience with end-to-end manufacturing process management, performance analysis, quality and compliance will be desirable. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing / design to manufacture transfer, with a minimum of three (3) years in a regulated environment preferred (e.g. Medical Device, Pharma). You will have a Third Level Qualification or a Master’s Degree in Science or Engineering. Good knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of product would be a plus. You will have to develop, document, implement and update standard operating procedures across all areas of responsibility. Willing to travel as part of project work.
