Job DescriptionOur clients, an established nursing home in the Enniscorthy District of County Wexford, are looking for a Staff Nurse to assist in the delivery of high quality, person centered care of elderly residents. You will contribute to meeting their physical, psychological and social needs. You will liaise positively with residents and their relatives and work well with all members of the Primary Care Team & Nursing Home Staff. Job Requirements and Key AttributesThe candidate should: • Be currently registered with An Board Altranais. (Essential. • Ideally have previous experience with Care of the Elderly. • Experience with Dementia desirable. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage and lead team of Care Assistants. • Have a patient-centred approach to nursing care. • Be flexible to cover various shifts – working hours include weekends and public holidays. Hours and BenefitsHours worked vary, but average 36 hours per week; shifts vary. • night duty 8pm – 8am, • day duty 8am – 8pm or an 8am – 2pm shift. Rate of pay negotiable with the right candidate. Time and half for Sundays with double time for bank holidays worked. Meals provided free of charge.
