Our client, a leading retail company are seeking a Financial Accountant/ Office Manager to join their award winning team. This is a full-time permanent position in a progressive company with a strong company culture. Responsibilities: Overall responsibility to maintain the nominal ledgers and prepare for management accounts and annual audit requirements. Monthly reconciliation of creditors and debtors control accounts. Stock control and managing stocktakes. Revenue returns to include PAYE/VAT. Bank reconciliations and cash control. Monitoring key internal controls in relation to cash handling. Payroll function. Co-ordinate all Intercompany transactions. Monthly analysis of key performance indicators. Assisting management team with annual budgetary process. Responsible for day to day running of the accounts office consisting of 12 staff. Requirements: Accounting Technician Qualified minimum. Experience in operating a computerised nominal ledger, experience in Exchequer would be an advantage. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years prior experience and have an excellent eye for detail, clarity of thinking and be capable of prioritising while managing the accounts team. Strong communication skills with an ability to engage fully with all business functions. Salary: €45,000-€55,000 plus benefits.
