The PositionOur client, an established European/Irish restaurant based on the outskirts of Enniscorthy, seeks to employ a part-time Cook/Chef for their busy establishment. This establishment serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner as well coffee and refreshments. Job Description. The position is part time, 3 days a week covering 24 – 25 hours from 7am to 4pm. There will be no Sunday, Bank Holiday or evening hours involved. The ideal candidate for this position will be capable of working in a busy kitchen environment. They will be responsible for food preparation, menu planning, stock ordering and will have proven experience in preparing traditional meals and snacks working to the establishment budget practices. Attention to safety and hygiene is of course essential. RequirementsThe successful candidate will. • have minimum 3 years hands on proven experience working in a busy traditional/casual dining environment. • must be HACCP trained and certified.
