Job Title: Business Account Manager. Team: Commercial. Status: Full Time (9am – 5pm), Permanent. Reporting to: Commercial Manager. Role Summary: On behalf of our client, we are looking for somebody with a passion for sales and brand management to join their team at a rapidly growing distribution company. As a member of the commercial team, the role of Business Account Manager will involve providing best in class representation for clients’ brands across the Irish Grocery sector. Typical Duties will include: Brand Management: • Working with a diverse range of clients/brands in both the food and non-food categories to develop and implement appropriate brand strategy for Irish marketplace. • Regular communication with your clients including both face to face business review meetings and regular phone and email communication. • Management of profit & loss account for all brands in your portfolio. • Stock Management – weekly stock forecasting and ordering in conjunction with Supply Chain Team. • Weekly/Monthly sales and margin reports to monitor performance against company budgets and growth targets. • Administration tasks as necessary to support your brand portfolio. Account Management: • Developing and maintaining strong trade relationships with all trade customers. • Representing your brands with senior buyers at retailer head office level. • Implementation of annual customer JBP plans to drive sales growth and maximise sales opportunities across all retail channels. • Working closely with field sales team to ensure they are fully equipped to support delivery of your sales plan. Experience, Qualifications & Skills Required: • 3-5 years previous experience working in grocery key account or brand management role (or similar) is essential. Previous experience of working within a grocery distribution business is a distinct advantage. • Third level or equivalent qualification in Business/Marketing or related discipline. • Excellent IT proficiency particularly MS Excel. • Strong communication and presentation skills to represent company and clients in a professional manner. • Ability to manage your workload in a fast-paced environment. • Flexibility to attend customer & client meetings, trade events etc. both in Ireland and overseas as required. Due to the urgency of this vacancy, our clients are not willing to go down the route of work permits/visas/sponsorship, therefore, all candidates must have permission to work in Ireland.
