Description

Quality Assurance Manager. Our client, in conjunction with Gemma Hayes Recruitment, now seek to recruit a Quality Assurance Manager, based in Co. Wexford. The Quality Assurance Manager will manage the site's Quality Assurance Team and develop personnel to maintain and improve team performance in line with company requirements. The role will report into the Director of Quality and Food Safety. Key Responsibilities Include: • Management of quality processes within the production facility ensuring compliance and adherence to customer and industry specifications, legislation and working standards. • Quality Skills and Attitudes in all Plant Teams. • Have the ability, tenacity, professionalism and flexibility to balance day to day operational activity and project completion with corporate requirements. • Facilitate Continuous Improvement. • Analyse & report on Quality Performance Metrics. • Build Sustainability through people. • Project Design & Delivery. Essential Criteria: • Relevant Third Level qualification (Degree or Higher) in a Food Science or related discipline. • A proven track record of progressively responsible experience of managing a Quality team in a fast paced, high tech and high-volume environment for a minimum of 7 -10 years. • Experience in standardisation of processes and Lean methodologies. • Proficient in the use of MS Office tools. • Proficient numerical ability to record interpret and analyse key process data. • Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Due to the urgency of this vacancy, our client is not willing to go down the route of work permits/visas/sponsorship, therefore, all candidates must have permission to work in Ireland.
