What you need to know. You will work as an Lab Analyst for our client, a highly successful FMCG company based in Wexford. This is a permanent role. As theLab Analystyou will analyse raw materials, in-process products and finished goods and operate and assist in the evaluation, calibration and validation of analytical testing instrumentation. Key Responsibilities. Testing of raw materials, in-process products and finished goods. Evaluation, calbration and validation of analytical testing instrumentation. Initiates continuous improvement within lab operations to enhance quality and service while reducing costs. Evaluate information to determine compliance with specifications or standards. Interpret results. Work with Lab Supervisor to ensure proper use of resources. Interpret databases for specifications, methods and standards. What are we looking for. Honours Degree in a Science subject, preferably Applied Chemistry or Chemistry. 2-3 years’ relevant food related/pharma business. Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative chemiscal analysis or basic microbiology. Knowledge and application of GLP. Experienced in LIMS. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
