Title: Mechanical Project Engineer. Reporting to: Engineering Managers. Department: Engineering Department. Job Description: Person would have responsibility for customer liaison, preparation of proposals and preparation of drawings and coordination with Project Manager and Production Manager. Job Specification: • Day to day liaison with engineering and production with regard to delivery of new and existing products. • Project Management of several orders/builds from initial order stages, through build to customer sign off. • Preparation of SolidWorks drawings/Models, AutoCAD layout drawings for proposals. • Preparation and estimation of quotes, including bills of materials, labour requirements etc. • Project analysis on completion to determine scope for improvement and points of learning. Qualifications & Experience Required: • A degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with 5+ years’ experience. • Ability to make and present engineering decisions. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Engineering cost analysis. • Design and drafting knowledge – SolidWorks and AutoCad essential.
