MATRIX RECRUITMENT GROUP are currently working with an Global Manufacturing company based in Co. Wexford. We are currently working on their behalf to actively find a SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER/ ADMINISTRATOR. Role description and outline: Within the Supply Chain group, this position will focus on carrying out administrative duties for purchasing, planning, customer service and warehouse functions. Duties will include the following: Generate production plans for the production department to meet customer demands. Monitor production plan closely to ensure product lots are coming into stock when expected. Work with kitting and manufacturing teams to ensure that production is scheduled in the most efficient manner. Generate plan for subassembly production in order to ensure subassembly stocks available to support product production plan. Work closely with Sales and customer service to manage demand and prevent backorder. Work with R+D and manufacturing engineering groups to plan builds required for verification or validation activities. Work with manufacturing technicians to plan production in such a way to facilitate equipment PM and maintenance. Identify lean and continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase flexibility of the production planning function. Work with QA group to monitor outcomes of any quality issues with finished product or subassemblies and re-plan if required to ensure customer demand is still met. Track and report weekly and monthly performance measures and indicators that provide management with a summary of planning accuracy (i.e daily back order report, MAPV. Present metrics to management and ensure accurate reporting of Data. Update Intranet forecast with updated customer forecast details. Prepare weekly and monthly MAPV files as needed. Assist in collating data for monthly planning pack. Desirable Qualifications/ Skills: Manufacturing Environment Experience. Medical Device experience would be an advantage. Experience in operating within an ERP environment such as EXACT /MAX /JDE. Office software including Excel (advanced level) and power point. Desirable professional supply chain qualification such as ISM(CPM), APICS (CPIM. Third level Degree qualified in a supply chain or Business discipline is desirable. Candidates must possess the following attributes: Possess excellent Problem solving ability interpersonal skills, Software application skills, Oral and written presentation skills and keen attention to detail. Demonstrates excellent leadership and communication skills. Be Highly motivated, organised decision-maker with strong analytical skills and able to work on own initiative.
