Hartley People are looking to recruit a Software Engineer (JAVA) for an exciting opportunity with a Wexford based company. The Role:  Build and maintain features and products for our core platforms. Ensure the codebase is clean, scalable and secure. Develop REST based APIs to support the client teams. Work with other like minded developers as part of an Agile team. The Person:  2+ years experience in a similar role. Excellent knowledge of Java and Object Oriented design principles. Experience working with the Spring Framework, Tomcat and Hibernate or similar technologies. Have worked with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB. Worked with and built RESTful APIs and Web services. Background in Agile Software Development. Excellent social, teamwork and collaboration skills.
