Fitter / Turner (Assembly. Cork. €Excellent DOE. As an international industrial valve company, our client’s expertise is in the design and manufacture of process critical valves. They are now looking for a Fitter / Turner to join their friendly team. If you have completed an apprenticeship in a technical or engineering discipline, this is a great opportunity to develop a rewarding career with an innovative business. As a Fitter / Turner, you will support the smooth running of our client’s mechanical assembly process. Following comprehensive engineering drawings, you will: - Assemble heavy duty valves, work to close tolerances and complete tasks to the highest standards. - Work on pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic actuators. - Assemble, disassemble and test pressure values. - Carry out machining and other support tasks when required. Interested? To be considered, you will need: - A time served apprenticeship in a technical or engineering discipline. - The flexibility to work in other areas of the production department when required. Due to our client’s union agreement, completion of an apprenticeship is essential for this role. Applications will not be progressed unless this can be clearly demonstrated.
