Hartley People are looking to recruit a Level 2/3 Engineer for an exciting opportunity with a Wexford based company. The Role: To take initial support calls from customers via telephone and e-mail. To complete basic troubleshooting of issue. To efficiently diagnose support issue. To escalate efficiently to field service or escalation support team if required. Solve issues remotely over phone/email within a quick timeframe. Handle busy volume of calls on a daily basis and coordinate queue of calls accordingly. Tester user connectivity and applications. Working on a range of issues including but not limited to network connectivity, peripheral connectivity, back-up, recovery, disk space, firewalls, anti-virus, applications. The Person: Excellent problem solving ability. Strong communication skills. Demonstrated experience in a similar support role. Experience in hardware and software installation / troubleshooting and repair. Experience in reviewing backup systems and antivirus protection. Experience in software deployment – including OS imaging and physical hardware installations. Knowledge of servers and Desktop, e-mail and AV solutions, networking/communications, back up solutions, printers and scanners. MCSE/MCSA/CCNA cirts would be an advantage.
