Our client, a Wexford based food retailer currently have a vacancy for an Assistant Manager. This is an opportunity for an experienced retail manager to join a fast paced team in a hardworking and rewarding environment. This role requires a candidate that is flexible and has a hands on approach to their work. The Role. Manage, develop and motivate the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency. Manage stock levels and maintain stock control. Meet targets and forecast future sales. Ensure health and safety, customer service and standards of quality are met. Ensure merchandising and presentation of store are at the highest standards at all times. Exceptional level of customer service at all times. Act as store manager in their absence. The Person. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager in retail – ideally grocery/food environment. Excellent customer service skills. Good analytical skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to motivate and manage a team. Must have positive attitude and drive. Must be flexible with work schedule.
