This role must ensure that the restaurant and functions venue operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining our reputation and ethos and so will include front of house and administration duties. The manager must coordinate a variety of activities in line with the seasonal demand and events at Wells House and Gardens to include family events, weddings and corporate functions encompassing the house, the restaurant and functions venue. The manager is responsible for the business performance of the restaurant, as well as maintaining high standards of food, service, and health and safety. As the restaurant and functions manager you are responsible for your team delivering a professional and superior customer experience. You must implement a worthy training scheme and ensure your staff adhere to the standards expected. This role needs to be driven by a passion for the tourism industry and customer service as well as a love of innovation and efficiency. This is a demanding role which requires precision but is also very rewarding from every aspect. You will also be undertaking two new sectors of the business; weddings and corporate functions and so there is a great opportunity to implement your own managerial style and ideas.
