CNC Machinist. Co. Wicklow. €Excellent DOE. Our client is a busy precision engineering and mould-making facility supporting the Aerospace, Medical and Engineering sectors. They are now looking for a number of CNC Machinists to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will: - Prepare and operate CNC machines, performing tasks such as drilling, grinding and milling. - Translate instructions into computer commands. - Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines. - Ensure that machines are effectively completing tasks. - Inspect and measure finished products. - Maintain machinery. Interested? To be considered, you will need: - Experience as a CNC operator, including CNC turning and milling. - Previous experience of operating CNC machinery and tooling, as well as precision measurement tools. - A good level of IT literacy, including a basic understanding of programming and CAD/CAM. - Strong numerical and mechanical skills. - The ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings. As a CNC Machinist, you’ll have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise your workload. A results-driven approach and good team-working skills are also key. A Leaving Certificate would be beneficial, as would a diploma in engineering or a relevant discipline. Please note, the working hours for this role are 8:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday.
