Our client, a progressive and expanding company in Wexford, currently seek to recruit a Credit Controller to join their growing team. Job Description. Reporting to the Account’s Manager this role will involve complete control of Debtors and debt management recovery. Key Responsibilities. • Complete control of debtors – monitoring of debtors and debt collection for approximately 150 customers. • Monitor and control of DD accounts for approx. 120 customers. • Preparing Debtors file. • Ensure credit management policies and procedures are adhered to all times. • Monitoring key accounts for clients. • Reconciliation and allocation of client remits. • Ensure query resolution through close liaison with all other internal departments. • Providing accounts information to internal department. • Other Adhoc duties as outlined by management. Person Specification. The successful candidate must have: • MUST HAVE a minimum of 2 years’ experience working solely in a debt collection/credit control function. • The ability to meet strict deadlines. • The ability to establish and maintain a good rapport with clients, both internally and externally at all levels. • Be fully IT literate. • Have a calm and confident demeanour to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations. • The ability to multi-task while still paying strict attention to detail. • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally, over the phone and email correspondence. • Be a strong team player with strong commercial and financial awareness. Due to the urgency of this vacancy, our client is not willing to go down the route of work permits/visas/sponsorship, therefore, all candidates must have permission to work in Ireland.
