Description

Hartley People are looking to recruit a Database Administrator for an exciting opportunity with a Waterford based company. The Role: Data input of new suppliers, products and customers, maintaining data accuracy. Liaise between Management and Store Managers/Staff to organise and manage data creation. Set up promotions and discount schemes as outlined by Management. Liaising with suppliers to follow up on pricing information. Maintain databases ensuring descriptions and pricing are updated in line with supplier price lists. Work with the operations team to manager stock on hand, rolling stocktakes, quarterly stocktakes for 17 sites. Analysis of stocktake on hand reports, communication of discrepancy to stores. Results feedback to Management. The Person: Previous stock control experience is essential. Database administration, preferably in a retail environment. Computer Literate (MS Excel, Word, Outlook) with strong keyboard skills. Strong analytical skills. The ability to pay strong attention to detail. Display strong administrative capabilities. Excellent interpersonal skills including a good telephone manner and working as part of a team.
